Beyonce

On sunday night a group of us from work were luckly enough to go to the O2 in Greenwich for the BEYONCE concert. Wow what a concert it was, the atmosphere was electric!!!! Not only did JayZ make an appearance on stage for Crazy in Love but also Kayne West for track Ego. I could not take my eyes of her she did not stop moving all night- absolutely amazing. Here are some pics below of that memorable night.

Milan Fashion Week

For Milan Fashion week Prada, Pucci and Versace were the most exciting collections for me. See below for some of their collection images. As my back ground is printed textiles naturally I am loving the seaside prints used at Prada and sexy is back with a bang at Versace, Pucci although referenced Balmain like silhouettes the collection was fresh even though the prints for this collection were limited. With only Paris Fashion week to go I'm looking forward to seeing how they will close this seasons of round shows.

I heart Alexa Chung

My new style icon is the gorgeous Alexa Chung. I love the way she mixes up her hobo style with a London street edge vibe using British designers such as Luella Bartley, Burberry and Mulberry. She first hit our screens on T4;s pop world, now she has her own US TV show for MTV 'It's on with Alexa Chung'.

Zakee Shariff for Roxy Heart

Last Wednesday I visited my Fashion Designer friend Zakee Shariff at Beyond the Valley. Zakee was launching her A/W 09 print/fashion collection which she designed for Roxy Heart. The collection was beautiful my favourite piece was a printed blouse inspired by Zakee's art work searching for light. The shop at the Bluebird, Supra girls, No-one and Beyond the Valley are among the few exclusive boutiques stocking this colourful range.

Vivienne Westwood

I have just been watching London based Fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood on Jonathon Ross. I have been inspired and moved by Vivienne, being in such a materialistic industry it's amazing to hear someone of her status passionate about such an important issue as climate change. This is also an issue close to my heart too, Vivienne urged us to join Prince Charles Rainforest Project, which I have signed up to and encourage you to do the same. I have been lucky enough to visit the amazon so I know first hand what a special and irreplacable role in which it plays in maintaining the health of our planet!
