Bjorn Winblad

It was my birthday the other day and one of my favourite pressies was a ceramic April calendar plate designed and illustrated by Danish Artist Bjorn Winblad (1918-2006). I have been collecting his work for a few years now after discovering his designs at Couverture a London based store specialising in covetable one-off designer pieces for the home, European fashion collections for women, cute knitted toys and childrens clothing and accessories, as well as an ever changing flow of vintage finds.

I love collages so thought I would post these few pictures of fridge sticker collages I found on Todd Selby website. Todd Selby has launched an exhibition based of his eccentric group of friends at home. The exhibition is called 'The Selby is in your place' on untill May 2nd at Colette in Paris.
